Are you tired of unproductive meetings? Are endless meetings draining your energy and wasting the entire day?

Here are 7 simple and easy to follow tips to run your office meetings that actually get results!”

1. Keep it Lean.
Invite only five to seven decision-makers. Do not call all the department HODs. Call only the necessary people. For others you can always send an email Update.
The fewer the people, the faster the decisions.

2. Time = Takt Time.
Start on time. End on time.
Do not waver outside the topic. Do not try to analyse the Root Cause for the issues during the meetings. A meeting without discipline breaks flow everywhere else.

3. Eliminate setup losses.
Projectors, screens, data — make them ready before the meeting starts.
Waiting for tech is pure Lean waste.

4. Agenda creates flow.

Meeting agenda should be Shared early. Participants should come prepared.
When the agenda is clear, discussions stay focused.

5. Presenter has to be prepared well and there should be a clear flow of data / information
Preparation removes confusion and rework.

6. Decisions over discussions.
Actions to be finalized. Owners to be fixed. Deadlines has to Finalised.
Next meeting should start with the prevuous meetings’ minutes.

7. Respect through listening.
Lean meetings listen to understand — not to reply.
Respect for people is the foundation of Lean.
